Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs

Mirror, mirror on the wall, where can I see the biggest and best fairytale of them all?

This December, the former grounds of the Tetley Brewery will play host to a fantastic star-studded production of one of the best-loved fairytales of the last two centuries; Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs.

Originally published in 1812, the classic Grimm Brothers fairytale has been a top grossing hit for Disney since 1937.

Taking inspiration from the legendary King of Pantomime, Francis Laidler, who built the Bradford Alhambra, the ambitious £1m+ spectacle is the brainchild of Bradford born David Lee, whose enchanting productions currently total over 200 to date.

Scotty T has become one of TV’s best-loved reality stars in recent years, with memorable appearances on ‘Ex on the Beach’ and the 17th series of Celebrity Big Brother, where he walked away as the champ!

But, who will be co-starring alongside our dashing romantic lead? Brookside and Last of the Summer Wine star, Louis Emerick, who is currently treading the boards in the electrifying stage adaptation of ‘The Full Monty’ will be showing off his seasoned acting chops playing the Royal Tax Collector.

Emerick states, “Having worked in two previous pantomimes for David Lee I know the high standards he sets, therefore the people of Leeds and West Yorkshire can look forward to the Biggest, Brightest and Spectacular pantomime to come to Leeds for some time, that’s why I’m proud to be part of it….I can’t wait!”

Tupele Dorgu is known to millions of UK soap fans for her role as plucky machinist Kelly Crabtree in Coronation Street, as well as a stint in Hollyoaks, but prepare to be blown away by her spellbinding performance as the Wicked Queen.
